Link a bank account with DanceLedger Pro
Open the Pro bank-account workspace, complete the secure connection, sync charges, and choose which transactions become trip expenses.
Updated
Bank connections are a DanceLedger Pro feature. The connection gives DanceLedger a transaction feed for review. It does not move money or turn every charge into a trip expense.
Open the protected account workspace
Open Profile, then Bank accounts. DanceLedger may ask you to confirm your sign-in before starting or resuming a connection because this workspace contains financial data.
Complete the secure connection
Choose Link bank account and follow the bank connection window. Return to DanceLedger after the account is confirmed, then check that the institution appears in the linked-account list.
Review before importing
Sync brings eligible transactions into the review flow. You choose the charges that belong to a trip, then confirm their category and trip assignment before import.
Step by step
Work through the task
- 1
Confirm that DanceLedger Pro is active on the account.
- 2
Open Profile, choose Bank accounts, and complete any requested sign-in confirmation.
- 3
Choose Link bank account and finish the secure connection.
- 4
Return to DanceLedger and confirm that the linked institution is ready to sync.
- 5
Review transactions and import only the charges that belong to a trip.
Common questions
Does linking an account move money?
No. The connection is used to review eligible transactions for expense tracking. DanceLedger does not use this workflow to send payments.
What happens if I remove the connection?
Future syncing stops. Expenses you already imported remain in their trips unless you edit or delete those expense records separately.
