Invite Community members and manage access

Invite the right people, then read enrollment, lineup, roles, plan access, and payment as separate facts.

Updated

People is the operating record for who belongs in the Community and what each person can do. A person can be invited, enrolled, on a performance lineup, assigned a role, and covered by a plan through separate relationships.

Invite with the smallest useful access

Choose the member or staff path that matches the work. Give operator roles only to people who need to manage Community data.

Read each status in context

An accepted invitation does not automatically mean a payment is current, a lineup spot is active, or an operator role was assigned. Review the separate status shown for each relationship.

Step by step

Work through the task

  1. 1

Open People in the correct Community.

  2. 2

Choose Invite and enter the people who should receive access.

  3. 3

Select member or staff access based on the work they need to do.

  4. 4

Send the invitation and review its delivery state.

  5. 5

After acceptance, review enrollment, roles, plan access, and payment facts separately.

Common questions

Can someone be on the performance lineup without paid access?

Lineup, Community enrollment, and paid access are separate facts. The People workspace shows the current combination for that person.

Can an invitation make someone an owner?

Only an authorized operator can assign available roles. Review the access before sending or changing a staff invitation.
