Abrazo Embeds / Protected setup
Use a protected embed setup code
Create a short-lived code in the owning Abrazo app, resolve it in Integration Kit, and install the approved component on the intended website.
Updated
Protected components need more than a public slug. The owning Abrazo product creates a short-lived setup code for an authorized person. Integration Kit resolves that code into an installation configuration for the approved surface.
Create the code from the owner workspace
Open the website or Integration Kit action in the product that owns the data. Confirm the component, public destination, and intended site before creating the code.
Resolve and install promptly
Enter the code on the Integration Kit setup page. If it expired, return to the owner workspace and create another. Do not place the setup code itself in the website page.
Respect the approved site
A protected component may be limited to the verified website or origin chosen during setup. Test on the final published host, because a preview domain can have a different origin.
Step by step
Work through the task
- 1
Open the owning Abrazo product and choose its Integration Kit or website action.
- 2
Confirm the component, resource, destination, and intended website.
- 3
Create the short-lived setup code.
- 4
Open Integration Kit setup, select the matching protected component, and resolve the code.
- 5
Copy the generated installation code, publish it on the intended site, and test the final origin.
Common questions
Should I paste the setup code into my website?
No. Resolve it on the Integration Kit setup page, then copy the generated installation code.
Why does the component work in preview but fail on my domain?
The preview and production pages can use different origins. Review the approved site and repeat setup for the final host when required.
