DanceSanctum / Hosting

Give attendees video access and upload recordings

Set up event video access, invite the right people, upload class recordings, and review what dancers can see.

Updated

DanceSanctum can keep event and workshop recordings connected to the people who should receive them. The host setup owns the event, access method, and incoming recordings.

An Organizer Suite event can hand off to DanceSanctum when video coverage is part of the event workflow.

Choose the access path

Decide whether access comes from attendance, an invitation, a purchase, or another supported event path. Check the event record before sending instructions to dancers.

Upload against the correct event

Open the host event before adding a recording. Keep teacher, workshop, and event context with each upload so the library can place it correctly.

Review before release

Use the organizer event view to review incoming media, access requests, and publication controls. The upload itself does not prove that every attendee can see the recording.

Step by step

Work through the task

  1. 1

Open Host and choose or create the event that owns the recordings.

  2. 2

Confirm how attendees receive access and which account or invitation they should use.

  3. 3

Upload each recording to the matching event, class, or workshop.

  4. 4

Review incoming media and access requests from the organizer event view.

  5. 5

Test the attendee path with the intended access method before announcing availability.

Common questions

Does uploading a recording make it public?

No. Review the event's media and publication state. Access also depends on the attendee path configured for that event.

What should an attendee do if access is missing?

Ask them to sign into the account used for attendance, purchase, or invitation. Review the event access request if the correct account still cannot open the collection.
